I simply cannot imagine my life without dogs or horses, can you?
I was the kid who rescued any animal that crossed my path – I still do. I nursed fallen birds, collected kittens, spent everyday after school with my horse. With a Kodak Instamatic I filled shoe boxes with photos of dogs, cats and horses. My photography adventure started with film, a Minolta 35mm camera and hours in the darkroom developing at a local college. Now I have a digital darkroom and top of the line digital photography equipment that produces wonderful images.
Our pets are such an important part of our lives. Documenting their life through photography gives them a chance to shine. To capture the unique and candid moments in their natural environment; running in a field at liberty, along a beach, a backyard, a dog park or horse show.
Through out all my sessions care is taken to maintain a happy and positive attitude and to create a safe and stress free experience. No big lights and definitely no costumes.
But always expect the unexpected - it’s their attitude and personality that make’s you smile at the the extreme puppy cuteness or be in awe of the beauty and strength of the equine form.
I am owned by three two rescue dogs; I am a member of the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Ontario, a past member of the The Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers and have attended numerous dog training seminars and conferences. I actively participate in animal welfare fund-raising events donating my time through my photographic services. I am a member of PETA, I am a vegetarian and I love my coffee!! You can also check out my Facebook page which is filled with fun day to day dog related activities.
Due to the nature of my business, I am rarely “inside” to take calls and if I am – I`m glued to the computer! The best and most efficient way to reach me is to fill out the contact form .
