Poet’s Vision Aussie Rescue ~ Belcarra Stables Horse Show~March 24

I am passionate about supporting animal rescue organizations. With all the busyness in my life along with 5 rescues of my own I don’t have the time to do the rescue work I once did. Now I offer my support to these organizations through my photography. By going to demonstrations and protests and going behind the scenes to get “tell all” documentation photos or by offering special event portrait days.On March 24 I will be at Belcarra Stables photographing the horse show. Proceeds from the sale of photos taken at this show will be donated to the Poet’s Vision Aussie Rescue, a volunteer based, registered and incorporated not for profit organization located in Perth, Ontario. Dedicated to rescuing and re-homing deaf and visually impaired Australian Shepherds (mixes) and Border Collie (mixes) that are the direct result of merle to merle breeding. For more information click on Poet’s Vision Aussie Rescue

Libby – The Security Adviser

Libby – The Security Adviser.  Full name Liberty but also called, Libby Lou, Louie, Lady Bug and Libbs.  The premises are safe when Libby is on the job.  Prime look out spots – back of the couch and stairway – both have an excellent view of the front road so Libby can monitor the activity.  She has also earned the nickname Pepper for her intense love of red peppers.   First on clean up duty if food hits the floor or food drops out of Miles’ mouth! Her breeding is somewhat questionable between a Beagle and a Shih Tzu; does this make her a Sheagle or a Beatzu?  A puppy mill survivor from Quebec she has that French attitude EH?  Intuitive and spiritual is her special quality.  When our first Berner, Max fell ill and couldn’t move, Libby quietly lay directly in front of him with her nose touching his – she stayed with him.  Libby is never far from Miles, with either one eye on him or sitting on his tail. Life is good.  Love you Libs!
